The St. Gabriel PTO is made up entirely of volunteers. So much of what happens at St. Gabriel Catholic School is a result of the efforts of the PTO, including all of the events and programs that make St. Gabriel School a community.

Volunteer Requirements
The Diocese of Charlotte requires that all persons including staff, faculty, and any parent volunteers (including those attending field trips, participating in classrooms or coaching sports teams) must participate in an important program called Protecting God's Children . To complete your requirement:

• Register through your parish office or online at the Virtus website .
• Submit a copy of the certificate of attendance upon completion.
• Keep current with program training updates, which will be sent to you via email.
• Complete and submit a volunteer profile form    and background check form to the school office.
• Note that your background check will need to be renewed every five years.
