All admissions to St. Gabriel are handled by the Admissions Office of the Mecklenburg Area Catholic School (MACS) System. MACS is a centralized, regional system of 8 Catholic schools in the Charlotte area that are fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction.

St. Gabriel Catholic School admits students of any race, color, sex, religion, national and ethnic origin to all programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at these schools. Priority for admission is given to Catholic students whose parents are participating Catholics in their parish.
